When did you start growing food and why did you become involved with Growing Neighbors?
I used to do a lot of gardening, but haven’t been able to anymore for a while because of certain things. That’s why it was good to hear about the organization and what Growing Neighbors does. I have four raised beds that just need tending to- the irrigation is set up and automatic, so everything is ready for planting!
Who else is involved in the farmyard & related neighbor connections (i.e. friends, family, neighbors)?
The hope is to bring more people into it! Right now I can’t do much with the beds I have, but I am open to have people come and utilize the space if they’re looking to grow some produce!
